This is a truly remarkable, excellent product.I have spent my entire life traveling the world, sometimes going to as many as 50 countries in a year for business.Yes, I travel economy class, most of the time.For the past 10 years, I've used neck pillows that fasten around the front of your neck to eliminate "head bobbing," where your head drops when you sleep, startling and awakening you. They were pretty good, but this product beats them by a long shot.I bought this inflatable pillow after reading reviews on several similar items.I've now tried it on three overseas flights: Two from Seattle to Europe and back, and one from Seattle to Hong Kong and back.It changed the way I sleep on planes. I wasn't sure about the leaning forward method, but it totally worked for me. I've been able to sleep for six to eight hours on flights with this pillow; I occasionally will lean back for a short while, but the vast majority of time I'm leaning into the pillow and sleeping soundly.I used to get window seats so I could lean against the body of the plane, but that's no longer necessary with this pillow. I even used it in a middle seat without any problems and slept soundly.It releases air quickly when you put it away, and compresses into its case without any problems, easily fitting into my briefcase. It's quick to inflate with the valve, also.One of the complaints about it was the smell. Yes, when I first got it, it had that "swimming pool toy" plastic odor, so I inflated it and let it sit on my living room coffee table for a week. After that, no more smell!It's nice to have the holes for your hands on each side, that's way more comfortable than leaning my arms on the too-hard airplane seat armrests.I do wear a sleep mask with it, otherwise it will let some ambient light inside. But the face hole is comfortable and you can even turn your head sideways against it if you want to.I've now recommended this product to several friends who fly overseas frequently, and they all love it. One friend had to buy a second one because her brother took hers and wouldn't give it back (!).This is a great invention and has improved my sleep on long-haul flights considerably. It wasn't expensive, and I recommend it highly to anyone who wants to improve their sleep on long trips.
