Had the old Eagle Creek version for probably 15 years. Loved the design, and clearly the construction was top notch. Alas, it finally came time for a replacement this year. On Amazon there were two options with the three pouch design: an updated version from Eagle Creek, and this option from Aqua Quest. Some of the reviews on the Eagle Creek option mentioned that it was smaller than previous designs, so I took a gamble on the Aqua Quest.Great decision. The Aqua Quest is exactly the same design as what I was looking for (see the new Eagle Creek version and how they tweaked it a bit). I also feel like the Aqua Quest version is larger. Recently took it on a week-long hiking trip to Peru. Not only did it survive, but it easily held: toothbrush + paste; deodorant; beard oil; comb; clippers, tweezers, pocket knife, pocket scissors; large supply of q-tips; one box of floss; two FULL boxes of daily contacts (yes, I brought the whole box); Neosporin; vitamins; sewing kit; emery board; and probably a few other knick knacks I'm forgetting right now.Constructions seems solid (we'll see if it holds up 15 years!) - no threads showing, seams look good and sturdy, zipper pull tabs are well made. As stated in the product description, the Aqua Quest does come with two "bladders" (part of the reason I went with this). Although they're really just glorified ziplock baggies, they're a nice addition and are useful for organizing your things. For example, on the hiking trip I kept all vitamins/ibuprofen in one "bladder," to prevent moisture, and I kept all my toothbrush stuff in another (in case I dropped this on the floor while showering and stuff in a hostel).Seriously great buy. Would get again in a heartbeat. Would definitely recommend. Absolutely perfect for travel.I agree with the previous reviewer that it is similar to EagleCreek's Specter Tech Quick Trip. However, this one seems to be sturdier and one external pocket is mesh. It is slightly heavier the EC's quick trip, but it hardly matters. It has two small ziploc bags to contain tsa approved bottles. Even though both products' sizes are the same, I feel the EC quick trip accommodates maybe a bottle or two more. This bag has thick waterproof lining throughout the inside of the bag. IN EC's quick trip, the entire bag is waterproof, but the mesh that gives the quick trip its structure and strength is not throughout the entire bag. So if you had something sharp, like small pair of scissors or tweezers, they could easily poke through Specter.I definitely recommend this to people who love the Specter line.Nice little travel kit for toiletries. Traveled about 90% of the time for work and this worked great. Might be small for a woman's needs but for men's basics it's perfect. As advertizedWell made, sturdy constructed bag. It traveled well and is a nice compact size.Perfect size for traveling light. Plenty of separate compartments for placing a variety of items. I would definitely purchase again.Great bag just a bit on the small sideServes its purpose, but its a little smaller than I thought. .
