Bought exclusively to replace a broken tip on one of my old Snow Peak chopsticks.... lanyard was also getting a little ratty, so I guess I'll transfer that over too.Chopstick profile is Chinese-style (cylinder profile that does not taper much), as opposed to Japanese, (cone profile that tapers down to less than half the initial diameter) and that suits me fine.As noted by others, this is an almost-perfect replica of the old "Snow Peak Compact Chopsticks". First thing I noticed is that the brass inserts on the tube section are not staked in place like my Snow Peaks. No word on durability yet, but even if the brass screws in the wood pulls out as been noted in other reviews, I don't mind fixing things myself, but I will come back and dock a star.edit: I have a newer pair of Snow Peak's current product collapsible chopsticks named "Wabuki". The threads are also interchangable with these. I don't like the Wabukis as much, because they're an extra inch longer in overall length, but I'll keep this in mind for when I need to replace the tips on those.
