These bags are very efficient packing cubes. They fit all of my clothes and toiletries very efficiently. Got multiple bags for me and my family so that packing and unpacking all our personal stuff becomes easier.I love these not just for traveling. my bride wont use them???but they are durable, lightweight and very helpful in organizing. i like to compress wrap them too. when opening the travel bag, these are easy to organize, rearrange, and repack and keep items together, separated, and neat.Recommend.I spent countless days comparing different packing cubes to see which would give me the best bang for my buck while providing high quality. After many hours on Amazon and YouTube looking product reviews and several rounds of elimination, I settled on Pro Packing Cubes and I couldn't be happier with the purchase. As soon as I opened the package, I was blown away by the level of quality in these packing cubes, especially given the price point. They are very light, yet still I can tell that they are built to last. I am notorious for over-packing and usually have a checked roller bag, carry-on roller bag, and a personal bag when going on this trip. I am currently using them on an international trip, and for the first time ever have been able to compress my items into a carry-on roller bag and a backpack (which turned out to be especially important between layovers and delayed flights, so not having a check bag was critical). I'm using them as follows.Smallest: Carried in my backpack (small compartment), used to store all my wires, extra phone and outlet converters.Small: Carried in my backpack (main compartment), used to store several topsMedium: Carried in my roller bag, used to store more tops (sweaters, long-sleeves) and a semi-bulky dressLarge: Carried in my roller bag, used to store towel, jeans, sleepwear, athleisure wear, cardigansI wouldn't recommend the Large cube for a carry-on bag, as it takes up quite a bit of space. Still, I was able to fit my Large cube, Medium cube, and a makeshift cube (I ran out and had to be scrappy with what I had in my house, haha) as well as store my underwear and socks in the built-in compartments of my suitcase (Travelpro Walkabout 3, so this helped even though I ran out of cubes). I also carried my toiletries and makeup bag in my carry-on with storage bags I already had.If I could do it again and I didn't have any other products to use, my ideal Pro Packing Cube set would consist of the following:Smallest: Would still use for my chargers, electronics, etc. and carry in my backpackSmallest (2): Would use for toiletriesSmallest (3): Would use as a make-up bag.Slimmest: I can only go by the pictures since I don't have this size, but it looks like this would be perfect for my underwear garments and socksSmall: Would use this to store an emergency set of clothes for quick and easy accessMedium (3 or 4): Would use for all clothes, towels, etc. I have a hunch they could all fit in my carry-on roller-bag.Large: for a carry-on trip, I think I could do without this size. Even if I was checking a bag, I would prefer multiple medium bags in lieu of the large to be able to better organize my itemsUpdate on 7/22: The new set still smells bad. You must wash these cubes upon receiving! I threw them in the washing machine on delicate with cold water and hung to dry outside and they turned out great. It is inconvenient, but at least I didn't have to hand wash them. I've heard the Shacke Pak kind of disintegrates if put in water to try to hand wash which is crazy!The Pro Packing cubes material is definitely superior over the Shacke Pak. The Shacke Pak felt like cheap plastic and the mesh was VERY rough! I wouldn't want any delicate clothes in the Shacke Pak.The Pro Packing cubes are also lighter than the Shake Pak which is nice for traveling.The Shacke Pak cubes are larger than the Pro Packing cubes which depending on what you are doing could be a plus or a minus! The Pro Packing cubes are the correct size given in the description, the Shacke Pak is larger than the description they gave.Overall I think the Pro Packing cubes are a better quality than the Shacke Pak so I'll be keeping the Pro Packing Cubes and returning the Shacke Pak. The main downside is the smell that comes with the Pro Packing Cubes and the extra step of having to wash them.I have been very impressed with the Pro Packing cube customer service so I have the confidence that if something does do wrong they will take care of it.Update on 7/20: I was contacted and they let me know that the smell is the shipping company's fault and they have filed a report. They sent me a fresh set and I will update again once I receive that set and the Shacke Pak so I can compare the two. I can say that Pro Packing Cubes has the best customer service I've ever dealt with!Original on 7/19: I couldn't decide between all the different packing cubes and picked these because they seemed cheapest for 4 cubes. When I first unpacked them I was shocked by the horrible smell! I opened them all up and aired them out for one night and they still REEK of cigarette smoke mixed with a bad plastic smell. I am very disappointed. I don't want all my clothes to smell of cigarette smoke!!I also realized that the smallest packing cube is TINY! I have plenty of those little cosmetic cases you get at bath and body works which would work (see picture).The material is very thin and seems like a good material.I didn't put my clothes in these to test them out because I didn't want my clothes smelling horrible!I have a set of Shacke Pak coming so I'm hoping those will be better!We have been using this same brand for a few years now and decided it was time to add more to our inventory. They are so easy to pack and having several colors makes it easy to organize. Wish that they would offer them in individual sizes rather than collections. It would then make it easy for you to "customize" to your own needs but still they are a 5 star purchase. Well worth the cost!Never used packing cubes before a seven week trip round Australia moving from place to place, so lots of packing and unpacking. I wasn’t sure if it was a bit of a gimmick at first but now that I have used them I would highly recommend them. The cubes themselves are well made and lightweight. I packed each one with specific items such as shirts, socks, charging leads etc. which meant that I knew where everything was as soon as I opened the suitcase. They were especially useful packing a smaller weekend bag as you did not have to rummage around to find what you needed.We will order more ( only ordered a 4 pack set each) as were impressed by the quality of these. We already have a lot of Eagle creek packing cubes but our daughter absconded with quite a lot (!) so we are replacing them with a less expensive product. These fitted the bill. They have a plastic liner feel to them inside which I hope will protect clothing from accidental spillages during flights. The mesh will allow us to see, with ease, the clothes inside and the two smaller cubes will be great for adaptors, chargers and cables and small cosmetic products to name but a few!We camp and cycle around the UK. Need to pack clothes is the most effective way. These are great for this purpose. We have bought more as we have gained experience of their usefulness. As we have used them on only 2 occasions, we can’t give a view as to their durability. However, with careful use we are confident that they will give us years of service.Lightweight, decent zip, holds a reasonable amount of stuff and doesn't look like the cubes will pop or burst.However, no stiffness in the sides which means the cubes lie flat rather than as a cube. This makes it less easy to pack them and thus they're not as good as other, similar prices options such as the cubes from Gonex (see my other review)For camping trips to carry clothes and outdoor gear. Does what we want. So far they are proving to be very useful. With careful use we think they will prove durable. As we have only use them a couple of times we can’t honestly say they “last with use” That said, we do think they are robust and with careful use they will last.
