We use it for outings. It is lightweight, easy to clean, and the dog likes that it's sturdy enough so that she can get dinner (on time) in the car! Will be getting another just to make sure we have a back-up.The lightweight and collapsible design on this bowl are great, it makes it the perfect water bowl to take on runs and hikes with my dogs. The issue, as several other reviewers have noted, is that the quality of the stitching specifically on loop of fabric that is intended to clip to a carabiner is really subpar. The loop tore and I nearly lost the bowl (would have lost it had I not felt it fall) within the first 2 miles of my first run carrying this. I still gave it a 4-star rating instead of lower though because there's a simple solution - put the carabiner through the hole in the metal zipper handle. I've had no issue running with the bowl clipped to my waistband since making that adjustment; however, I cannot give 5 stars to a product with such an obvious design flaw, even if there is an easy workaround.Take this to the beach and this is really easy to carry and clean.Arrived on time and works great. Zipper is high quality and durable, not the cheap zippers that get stuckI like this bowl in general! I love how it conveniently folds up into itself. It works in a pinch, but like other reviewers have mentioned, it’s not the best for water. I hold it up by the sides for dog, so the sides don’t fold down. I just wish the fabric loop for the carabiner was more durable, since I’m worried it will catch and tear or easily fray over time."easy to clean" was MY biggest issue. my rescues are indoor-outdoor, and the water where i live basically always bakes down into a layer of calcium scale on any plastic/metal/ceramic outside water bowl that pretty much requires vinegar to soak off. being able to throw this is a washer was a HUGE selling point for me, so i'm really hoping that's accurate since i haven't washed it yet.it IS lightweight, even when mostly full. the color's accurate (i'm a turquoise/teal-ish fan when it's an option), and while i did have some concerns that my kittehs wouldn't drink out of this, my queen floof calico thinks it's acceptable and so does her cuddlebug orange tabby soni'm not trying to hike/etc. with this, so that kind of durability wasn't a high priority.I attach this right to my back pack and use it for both food and water for my dog. I clean it and leave it open to dry but keep it attached to my backpack so I don’t forget it, I highly recommend this product.Ordered last week for an overnight backpacking trip with my dog. First time using the bowl, I had it clipped to my dog’s Kurgo harness with the carabiner that came with it. After 4 miles of hiking, I thankfully saw it laying on the ground. The loop ripped off the carabiner. Cheap loop.I love the design & really lightweight. Also matched the harness. But sad that it broke the first time we used it.I got one of those collapsible silicone type bowls initially for my dog. He loved chewing that right up on the first day (god bless a Labrador puppy) so I wanted to find something a little more durable. This was more money but worth every penny. Holds more water to start with and folds up really small. Clips on to his dog walking bag either with the carabiner or the popper. It’s awesome. I would buy again if I lost it.Bought to replace silicone bowl that was torn by the dog.This one is perfect. Compact and light weight, yet a good size for drinking from. Easy to open/fold. Seems well made and from good materials.Would recommend for someone looking for this type of bowl over a silicone one. Nuestra perra viaja a todos lados con nosotros y ese plato ha andando desde el desierto hasta la nieve y lo único que le pasó fue que lo perdí en una fiesta. Así que compré otro igual. Antes probé de otros tipos y ninguno le llega. Lo único que cabe mencionar es que con el tiempo y uso rudo pierde un poco la capa impermeable y empieza a transpirar un poco. Pero nada grave y comprensible ya qué pasa con lo mismo con todos los equipos de aventura con este recubrimiento. Excelente. No necesitas otro plato más que este.
