As with all ENO products I’ve owned the Islander is a very quality product.It’s made from the exact same breathable nylon material as the hammocks they make so if you have on of those you’ll know what to expect. Essentially it’s thin, breathable, quick drying, and very soft. It’s big enough for two or three adults to lay on pretty comfortably. There’s also a little zippered pocker for the small stakes for the four corners, which you absolutely want to use in a beach application, because the blanket is so light that it will blow everywhere otherwise.Calling this a blanket even is a bit of a stretch as it is more sheet like, very thin, so it won’t provide much cushion, particularly on harder ground surfaces. Which is why the Islander shines so much in a beach application. It’s super small when packed, soft and comfortable, quick drying, breathable, and very inexpensive for the years you can get out of this product. If you want something cushiony for a park or around the campfire, go with a thicker blanket option, but for the beach or other softer terrain, this is a fantastic choice.
