This is ok I only wish that the color shown was the true color received. The picture looks like it should be a glossy fuchsia, what I received is a light dull pink. :( I wanted it to match my water bottle so that I wouldn't misplace it at work. I also have to say that the outside of the mug does get warmer than I would like or other stainless steel mugs I have had.This is a very nice coffee mug. I love the stainless steel and it keeps my coffee hotter longer. The thing I don't like about it is that the top leaks, not the top snap lock, but on the sides when you screw it closed. Even if the mug isn't full, once you tighten it if it tips over at all it leaks out.This mug does keep drinks hot for a good while. I have not tried cold products yet. My two issues are the fact that there is a weird smell to the plastic lid no matter how hard you wash it. Also, mine had some small scratches and dings on it.When the mug arrived it had multiple scratches on it, including one long (3 inch) scratch down the side of the mug. There were multiple other scratches and dings on the mug, which might not be so noticeable on a silver mug, but the purple paint was totally missing in a lot of places. It was also fairly dirty/dusty (Not really sure how that happens...) when it arrived in the box, but everything else in the box was clean. It just looked like Amazon found it in the back of their warehouse, on some dusty gross shelf. If I bought it for myself I might have settled, however it was for a gift, and something about giving a dinged up scratched gift just doesn't seem right (duh!). Definitely returning it.Was looking for a decent, well built, kept my coffee hot for a few hours and this did the trick, still using after 3 months of every day use! Easy to clean, lid stays of securely, very happy with this product. The black is very sleek looking and kept my coffee hot for at least 2 hours! This item is also almost spill proof, with a great snap top lip.Lid didn't have chemical smell like others were saying, Just needs one washing with dawn dish soap and ready to go! I highly recommend!The paint flaked off after the second hand washing. I have never put it in the dishwasher but paint is all flaked off around top and down bottle about 1 inch. Will keep coffee hottish for about 1 - 2 hours.From the description this seemed like exactly what I was looking for. However, the first time I used it I ended up with coffee all over the front of me. So, I thought maybe I didn't have the top on tightly - took it off and put it back on again. After three tries of using it, with coffee dripping on me each time, I decided it was not a good purchase and will put it in my donation box. Hopefully someone who buys it at the thrift store won't be too disappointed when they end up wearing what they are trying to drink. It was a waste of money.I liked this product but you can only fill it 3/4 full otherwise it leaks out. It keeps things hot for a long time and the flip top is nice. It is easy to hold on too and is a good product overall.
